Initial notes of rose petals and crushed ripe raspberry and wet gravel melded with notes of the cool Pacific air give way to sunbaked damp earth, coastal moss-covered trees and dark cherries. On the palate the wine is fresh, bright and structured with brilliant acidity and fine-grained, youthful tannins. The finish is persistent and fades to notes of raspberry, dried herbs and this coastal site lingering on your pallet.
